Bath and Prepare Dogs (Intro Course)

*Please note - This is NOT an Accredited Course. On completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement from PDGT.

This short course is for persons who would like to get into professional pet grooming services and not looking for an Accredited Course.

 On completion of this short course, you will have a sound understanding on the best ways to prepare a dog for grooming including ear cleaning, nail clipping, selecting the right tool for the job, understand the right products according to skin and coat types and be able to practice safe handling techniques whilst grooming.

• How to Bath and Dry different coat types
• Selecting the correct tools
• Learn about products
• Hygiene Preparation
• Safe Handling 

This short course is delivered over 4 days. Training will take place within a mobile grooming trailer.

Training may also involve travelling to clients, where you will gain the additional experience of a mobile set up. This will depend on booked clients and suitability.

The cost for this 4-day short course is $1600. 

Fees must be paid in full to PDGT 2 months prior to start of course date.
