This 20-day course is for persons who would like to get into professional pet grooming services or starting up their own business. This course will give you the knowledge you need to safely handle dogs for all aspects of grooming, from bathing to clipping. You will be able to recognise coat types and choose the correct tools, equipment, and products for the job.

- Correct bathing, brushing and drying processes
- Choosing the correct tool for the job
- Learning about products
- Safe handling techniques
- Basic Grooming skills from clipping to scissors
Course Details and Delivery
This short course is delivered over 4 weeks. Training will take place within a mobile grooming trailer.
Training may also involve travelling to clients, where you will gain the additional experience of a mobile set up. This will depend on booked clients and suitability.
Course Fees
The cost for this 4-week short course is $7800
Fees must be paid in full to PDGT 2 months prior to start of course date
